25 Years!!

Sometimes it seems like a long time ago (were we ever really that young??) and sometimes it seems like yesterday!! We celebrated our 25th Anniversary yesterday !!

My marriage advice: Marry the right person. Heh!

I totally lucked out and married the best husband in the world!! No, he's not perfect...he's just perfect for me.

We went to the prom together. I called him an "old man" because he was a senior and I was a sophomore. I don't call him that anymore.....

We met in high school and here we are before his graduation in 1975. I was attracted to his great sense of humor...and he is still hilarious!! I think he liked me for my very short skirts (don't wear those anymore!!).
Life pulled us in different directions and we reconnected in 1981 and got married in 1983. If you saw my blog about my daughter's wedding, we got married in the same spot!

No. It's not a wig. All that hair is mine. Funny thing is that in the last 25 years my hair has been almost every color and every length....and here it is, all these years later and it's almost the same as I wore it in high school. What's up with that? (a little bit lighter I guess...I think I forgot my real hair color years ago!!)

So, here's to the next 25!

  2. Thank you for sharing these pictures of you and your husband; they are so cute! :) And congrats on 25 years!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my pretty pumpkin! You should totally do a glittery pumpkin of your own! It was a tad tedious painting the swirls and then getting the glue on them (I knew it would be easier for me if I had the paint there as a guide), but it sure was worth it. I used Martha Stewart glitter and glue (it came with a handy brush inside the lid) but you could use any kind you prefer. Happy Fall!
