Pink Saturday

What is fun and fabulous and PINK all over? ??

Why it's Pink Saturday...of course!!

This is my latest beading project. I saw it in a magazine and I just HAD to have it. I had some help from my friend Lori in getting started. It was started several times actually...argh.

The finished flower was a little bit dainty for me.

Pretty...but little. I couldn't resist trying it with bigger beads. I like this much better!

I am going to put it on a pin. That way I can wear it as a pin or I can put it on a chain and wear it as a necklace.

I'm still not sure I will make another....I have decided that I am "in" to instant gratification and this project took too long and was too complicated. Lot's of counting and paying attention. (paying attention is another thing I avoid!).

So, until those spring flowers begin to appear (my daffodils are coming up!! yay!), I will enjoy my PINK flower pin/necklace.

Now it's time for YOU to go make a lovely cup of tea....

Go to Beverly's

and

See all the wonderful PINK!

  1. Stephenie,
Your flower pin is beautiful, but that's too much 'little' for my old eyes or fingers to handle. I also try to avoid paying attention. lol
    Have a great weekend,
    Debi

  15. How weird, my great-Grandmother crocheted a doily just identical to the one on your table...Deja vu.

You did a great job on the flower pin/necklace. It is tedious work. I tried my hand at it and my eyes and fingers just aren't that nimble anymore.

    Happy Pink Saturday.

  18. Hi Stephanie!
Loved that little flower. My eyes would cross trying to do that close work! And even though it's not pink, I loved the doily.

  20. That pin turned out great even if it did take so much counting and concentration on your part. I am behind on my blog reading. Catching up on yours now.
