Crazy Paisley Purse
My daughter begged me to make a purse for her. I reminded her that I don't make stuff for people. She gave me that look that said she knew better. I know her favorite colors and I hoped that I would be able to come up with something she would REALLY like. And, when I saw her face when she opened it, I knew I did it! What a great feeling. And, I love this purse. I am so happy with how it turned out. I'm very new to knitting, so I am still not quite sure how anything will turn out. Just today, I realized that my latest project will have to be discarded...darn it! So, I was pretty happy when the basic structure of this purse turned out to be okay. I thought it needed some pizazz, so I embroidered my version of a paisley pattern with yarn and added a few beads. I made the handle out of a piece of plastic plumbing tube and I filled it with pretty brown "chip" beads that look like small rocks. The lining is a really pretty fabric and I put in my first "purse zipper", Yay! Take a look
